Profile for Bundoora

Bundoora is located 15 km north-east of the CBD. Bundoora is one of the few suburbs in Melbourne that is located in three different municipal areas (Whittlesea Bundoora and Darebin). Until recently the suburb was the location of many geriatric and mental health facilities such as the Larundel and the Bundoora Repatriation Hospitals some of which are now closed and being redeveloped for housing. Bundoora also features La Trobe University's main campus and the Bundoora campus of the RMIT University.
