About REIV Market Insights
REIV market insights are based on data provided by real estate practitioners and information from Government records. Sales results submitted by real estate practitioners include residential, commercial, industrial and rural sales results from around the State. Demographic data is sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics Census of Population and Housing 2011/2016.
Our objective is to ensure that each published metric is current and statistically significant i.e. based on a reasonable sample size. To achieve this, the REIV publishes statistics at different frequencies and covering different periods as appropriate.
