  1. Master Auctioneering Program

REIV_MA-(1).png

The Master Auctioneering Program has been developed by the REIV and its Auctioneering Chapter to recognise some of our best auctioneers and set a benchmark for best practice auctioneering.

The accolade celebrates auctioneers who have excelled in their field, particularly in state or national competitions. Winners of the Senior Auctioneers' Competitions receive and retain the title of Master Auctioneer while they continue as members of the Institute.

The program was launched at the Australasian Auctioneering Championships Award presentation in September 2015. The REIV will work closely with the Master Auctioneers to continually enhance the skills and expertise of Victorian auctioneers.

Australasian Real Estate Institutes’ Auctioneering Championship

The Australasian Auctioneering Championships is an annual event representing the most skilled and professional auctioneers that New Zealand and Australia have to offer.

The Championships are conducted jointly by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) and the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA). The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) is proud to be hosting the 2017 Championships at Hilton Hotel in Adelaide on the 5th through to 7th of September.

The Australasian Real Estate Institutes' Auctioneering Championship brings together the winner and runner-up of each of the Australian State REI Auctioneering Competitions and the winner and runner-up of the national REINZ Auctioneering Competition.

REIV Interschool Auctioneering Program

The REIV has launched an Interschool Auctioneering Program that can open an exciting new career opportunity for young school students.

Students in Year 11 & 12 (or equivalent) can apply for a place in the program. The program includes an introductory auction training course, practical training and mentoring by highly respected and
experienced auctioneers.

Successful program participants will compete for the title of REIV Interschool Auction Champion. Top performers may also have an opportunity to test their skills further by representing Victoria in the Australasian School Auction Championships.
