Whether you’re a budding real estate agent, an experienced professional, a family-run agency or a large franchise group, we’re here to represent and assist you.

Joining the REIV is simple and should only take 10 minutes of your time. Commence your application by clicking on the statement below that best defines you:

• Business 
  • A real estate business holding a current estate agency licence: includes franchise offices, branch offices and sole traders
  • A service provider to the real estate sector, NOT holding an estate agency licence
• Individuals
  • An Agent’s Representative or Licensed Estate Agent working for an REIV Member business
  • An Agent’s Representative, Licensed Estate Agent or other individual working in real estate in a capacity other than that listed above
  • An individual working in the real estate sector, NOT registered with the Business Licencing Authority.

 Business holding an estate agency licence

• The applicant business must hold a current Estate Agents licence and be registered with the Business Licensing Authority of Victoria
• The following roles must also hold an individual membership: 
  1. Officer in Effective Control
  2. Working Director
  3. Branch Manager
  4. Working Shareholder
  5. Sole Trader 
• Membership Fee
  1. Membership fee is determined by number of employees in the business. Please refer to the application form below for details
  2. REIV membership renewal date is 1 July. Applicants will be charged a pro-rata amount for the current financial year on approval of your application
  3. Fees may be paid monthly (direct debit only) or annually

You may apply to become an Affiliate of the Institute.

 Individual working for an REIV Member business

• Applicants must be an Agent’s Representative or Licensed Estate Agent
• Must be employed with an REIV Member Agency (not an Affiliate Body) 
• Annual Membership Fee:
  • Licensed Estate Agents: $296 (inc. GST), may be paid monthly via direct debit
  • Agent's Representatives: $195 (inc. GST)
  • REIV membership renewal date is 1 July. Applicants will be charged a pro-rata amount for the current financial year on approval of your application

• Annual Membership Fee:
  • Licensed Estate Agents: $296 (inc. GST), may be paid monthly via direct debit
  • All other individuals: $195 (inc. GST)
